We are actively looking for a FPGA engineer to help us integrate third-party and in-house IP cores into an HDL-based FPGA design, targeting Xilinx UltraScale devices.
Responsibilities:
Understand and apply the full FPGA design flow including HDL integration, simulation, synthesis and implementation.
Generate and maintain HDL wrappers and top-level designs.
Definition and sizing of new satellite and ground station requirements to comply with new SIGINT demands.
Design and execution of ground testing setups to validate the software and hardware developed.
Perform functional modelling of DSP algorithms and their implementation in RTL (Verilog/VHDL) or high-level languages (C/C++).
Universidad - Grado / Licenciatura
Profile:
Telecommunications engineer or similar.
Hands-on experience with the FPGA design flow, including HDL development and IP cores integration.
Solid understanding of HDL (Verilog or VHDL) for integration purposes.
Understanding of AXI protocols and memory-mapped interfaces
Utilization and design experience on Software Defined Radios (SDR).
Knowledge of Python or other scripting languages for automating tasks, simulating, or enhancing system testing and analysis.
Knowledge of additional communications systems concepts (coding, RF propagation, multiplexing, filtering, etc).
Full professional proficiency in English.
