We're hiring at YK-Robotics: a research position in Barcelona for a recently graduated PhD in AI applied to industrial robotics.

The work sits at the core of what we're building — making advanced robotics simpler to deploy. We'll define the research lines together, based on your profile, and they could include:

- Multimodal models for advanced perception
- Generative AI to configure, program and diagnose robotic cells in natural language
- Trajectory planning in dynamic environments
- Predictive maintenance and analytics for cells in production

All of it tested on real cells, in real plants.

Three-year research project, funded through the Torres Quevedo programme (Agencia Estatal de Investigación)
On timing: we submit the application in October, and the contract starts once the call is resolved, in the first half of 2027. It's a good fit if you're defending your thesis in the coming months.
