As part of the development of our activities in Spain, we are looking for an Operations Project Manager (M/F) to support a major player in the aerospace and defense industry in managing industrial projects from First Article Inspection (FAI) through serial production and End-of-Life (EOL).You will play a key role in securing industrial performance, production continuity and product lifecycle support for programs already in production or approaching production launch.Working in an international and demanding environment, you will be involved in key challenges including manufacturing transfers to external partners, electronic component obsolescence, supply chain risk management and long-lifecycle aerospace products.Your main responsibilities
Production & Industrialization
Lead the execution of production and pre-production projects, ensuring delivery on time, on cost and at the expected quality level.
Contribute to final industrial readiness and First Article Inspection (FAI) activities.
Drive ramp-up and ramp-to-rate activities and secure production stability.
Coordinate Engineering, Industrialization, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Quality teams to prevent production disruptions.
Support limited pre-FAI industrialization activities to ensure a smooth production launch.
Manufacturing Transfer & Supplier Management
Support the transfer of manufacturing activities from internal production to external industrial partners.
Monitor supplier and subcontractor performance across quality, cost, delivery and capacity.
Ensure suppliers remain aligned with project commitments and delivery milestones.
Proactively monitor component availability and supplier assumptions.
Anticipate supply chain risks and ensure timely escalation of critical issues.
Define, implement and follow up on recovery and corrective action plans.
Drive operational follow-up with manufacturing partners to secure commitments and project milestones.
Supply Chain & Obsolescence Management
Identify and anticipate risks related to the obsolescence of electronic components, materials and technologies.
Define and implement mitigation strategies to secure long-term supply continuity.
Work closely with Engineering and Supply Chain teams to identify alternative solutions and secure production.
Ensure risks are identified early and appropriately escalated.
Product Lifecycle & EOL Management
Ensure product supportability throughout the operational lifecycle.
Coordinate activities related to spares, repairs and configuration management.
Support long-term product availability and lifecycle requirements.
Plan and execute product phase-out activities, including final builds, Last Time Buy (LTB) and customer alignment.
Ensure EOL activities are properly coordinated with Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing and customers.
Project Control & Performance Management
Manage project KPIs covering schedule, cost, quality, delivery and risks.
Identify deviations and implement appropriate mitigation plans.
Monitor project progress and ensure timely resolution of critical issues.
Prepare regular project reporting for senior management and key stakeholders.
Maintain clear visibility on project risks, actions and commitments.
Customer & Stakeholder Management
Act as a key interface for internal and external stakeholders throughout the production phase.
Ensure customer commitments are met, particularly regarding:
Delivery performance
FAI acceptance
Industrial maturity
Production continuity
Facilitate cross-functional decision-making and ensure effective communication between all stakeholders.

You hold a Master's degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, Project Management, Manufacturing, Aerospace or a related field, and have significant experience in industrial project management within the aerospace, defense or electronics industries.You have minimum 10 years of experience in environments involving:
Production ramp-up and industrialization
Manufacturing transfer and outsourcing
Supplier and subcontractor management
FAI and/or industrial qualification processes
Supply chain and industrial risk management
Cross-functional project management
You have a strong understanding of electronic systems and/or avionics products, as well as manufacturing and supply chain processes.Experience with product obsolescence and lifecycle management is a strong advantage.Must-have
Proven experience in manufacturing transfer / outsourcing.
Experience in the aerospace or defense industry.
Strong knowledge of industrial environments and supply chain processes.
Good understanding of aerospace quality requirements, particularly EN9100.
Strong project management and supplier management skills.
Professional fluency in English, in an international working environment.
Ability to work effectively with multicultural and cross-functional teams.
Nice-to-have
Experience with safety-critical / safety-certifiable systems.
Familiarity with DO-254 / DO-178 and DAL A environments.
Experience with complex electronic or avionics products.
Experience in electronic component obsolescence management.
